The next time you visit the cinema; we will activate the accounts so you can start to use your points.
Do I need to get and use physical card?
The system requires us to issue a physical card when you first join but after that you can use the virtual card on the app if you prefer, every time you visit.
When purchasing online, the website will automatically add points for purchase as long as you are logged in.
I lost my card. Can I get a new one? How?
We will happily replace your card next time you visit. But if you download the app on your phone and log in you can use that instead of a card.

What’s so special?
All our screens are nice, but we have really gone the extra mile with our VIP studio. There are luxury leather electric recliners for each customer, and we have fewer seats in the screen to maximize legroom and comfort.

Can I only get Hot Food in the Directors Lounge?
No, you can order Hot Food, wine, ice cream etc. at any of our tills (or online with your tickets) and it will be delivered to your seat in ANY screen.

3. Food
What food and snacks are available?
As well as popcorn freshly made on the premises and other traditional cinema foods – you can order food such as Pizza, Hot Dogs Hot Food, Gelato and much more from our Extras Café.
Enjoy in screen or in the Café area before or after your movie, it’s up to you.
Do I have to come out to get it?
You must order at the till (or online with the tickets, before coming to the cinema) but then you can go to your seat. Once the food is ready, we will bring it to your seat, in any screen.

I ordered my food online when I got my tickets. Can I just go straight to the screen?
No, you must pick up your tickets and confirm the food order with a member of staff before going into the screen. Then we will prepare your food and bring it to you when it is ready.

When does the cinema open?
The cinema opens every day except Christmas day.
In the summer and during school holidays the cinema is open from 11:30 am to late every day.

Mon, Wed, Thurs from 5PM each day.
Tues and Fri from 3:30 pm.

Is the Cinema open Christmas, Bank Holidays etc.?
The cinema opens every day except Christmas day. We usually close a little early on New Years eve, and we open a little later St Stephen’s day and New Years Day. All other holidays are the same as weekends – open from 11:30.

Yes, there is usually someone in the cinema from early every day until late all year. Call us on 0719829999. However, we may be carrying out maintenance or cleaning in other parts of the cinema and may not get to the office phone in time.

I bought tickets online, but I can’t attend. What can I do.
Call us or email us with the booking / collection code. If it’s at least 2 hours before the show, we will issue a refund.
If it’s before the show but fewer than 2 hours, we will issue a gift card for the same amount.

I bought tickets in the store, but I can’t attend. What can I do.
If you can return to the cinema at least 2 hours before the show with the booking order / receipt, we can refund you. Please note that if you paid with a credit or debit card, we can only refund if you have that card with you.

Can I swap my tickets for another time/day?
Yes, providing you give us enough notice, we can swap the ticket. But please note there may be a price difference if one of the shows is at a different time or in a VIP lounge.

Do I have to sit in the assigned seat?
Yes, all screens in Eclipse Cinemas have assigned seating.
Firstly, our food delivery system relies on us being able to find the correct customers in darkened screens causing the minimum disruption for other patrons. We cannot do this if people do not sit in assigned seats.

However, when food is not involved, it is still very important you sit in the correct seat.
While you may not mind where you sit, many of our customers do, and select their seats for many reasons including disability or comfort reasons and it can be very disruptive or upsetting to have to move people.
If you don’t like your seats and want to change, just come and talk to one of the staff. If there is space, we will be happy to switch your seats to somewhere you feel more comfortable.

Is there a carers discount.
Yes, anyone with a valid careers card accompanying a service user can get free entry to all our standard screens. For VIP screens they pay a supplementary charge of €4 only.

How does a family ticket work?
A family ticket is for a family of four. It can be used for 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children.

Yes, we have lots including Crazy Tuesday where all our standard screens are HEAVILY Discounted. Click on special offers on the main menu to learn more.

How much are the tickets on Crazy Tuesday?
All tickets for all standard screens are just €5.95 if you buy them online. If you buy them in our cinema on the day they are €6.45
This does not include the Directors Lounge.
Why are some tickets cheaper online?
Logistics. If we have a better idea of how many people will be attending, we can organize staffing, screen use, and stock levels more efficiently. This results in savings which we are more than happy to pass on to the customer.

We show a family a sensory friendly film on the first Saturday of every month. Almost all of our films are available in sensory friendly and/or subtitled versions for groups on request.
